Joseph G. Rosa (ur. 20 listopada 1932, zm. 17 stycznia 2015"Biographer of Wild Bill Hickok Dies" by Howard Mann) – angielski historyk Dzikiego Zachodu, autor, główny biograf Dzikiego Billa Hickoka. Biograf szeregu innych postaci tego okresu i historyk pojedynków rewolwerowców.
Od lat 50. prowadził badania w Wielkiej Brytanii i w Stanach Zjednoczonych, gdzie uzyskał poparcie rodziny Hickocka i dostęp do rodzinnego archiwum. Udzielał się na corocznych konferencjach Western History Association. Był prezesem organizacji Westerners International i English Westerner's Society, a także członkiem (ang.: fellow) Royal Society of Arts.
