Oprócz Bolt Thrower, Willetts współpracował z zespołem Benediction jako wokalista wspierający. Śpiewał m.in. w utworze "Wrong Side of the Grave" (utwór z repertuaru The Accüsed) z albumu Transcend the Rubicon czy "Jumping at Shadows" z The Grand Leveller. Zaśpiewał również w utworze "Legacy of Pain" na albumie Bloodbath greckiego zespołu Suicidal Angels oraz "Bloodicide" z albumu The Arrow of Satan Is Drawn zespołu Bloodbath z 2018 roku.
Ukończył studia z kulturoznawstwa na Uniwersytecie w Birmingham. Przez pewien czas Willetts był wegetarianem, ale powrócił do jedzenia mięsa około 2006 roku. Mieszka w Solihull.
