Zulu Dawn (títol orichinal en anglés, Amaneixer zulú en aragonés, estrenada en Aragón con o títol en castellano de Amanecer zulú) ye una coproducción estausunidense-sudafricana-anglo-neerlandesa d'aventuras belicas colonials, dirichida por Douglas Hickox seguntes un guión adaptau por Cy Endfield y Anthony Storey basau en Zulu Dawn, una novela d'o mesmo Cy Endfield. Con una dirección de fotografía d'Ousama Rawi y una Banda Sonora Orichinal d'Elmer Bernstein, producioron a cinta Nate Kohn y James Sebastian Faulkner ta las productoras Zulu Dawn NV, Lamitas y Samarkand; en l'elenco d'a cinta amanixen actors como Burt Lancaster, Peter O'Toole, Simon Ward, Nigel Davenport, Michael Jayston, Peter Vaughan, Denholm Elliott, James Faulkner u John Mills.
La cinta s'ambienta en chinero de 1879 en Sudafrica (ye se rodó en ixe mesmo país) mientres a Guerra Anglo-zulú y explica la historia d'a batalla d'Isandlwana con a redota de l'axercito britanico a mans d'os zulús. Ye una preqüela d'a cinta Zulu (1964, Cy Endfield) que se centra en a batalla de Rorke's Drift escaicida a lo día siguient d'a batalla d'Isandlwana.
