Cedric Diggory ye un personaxe ficticiu de la serie Harry Potter, creada por J. K. Rowling. Ye un estudiante de Hogwarts perteneciente a la casa Hufflepuff y capitán y buscador del equipu de quidditch de la so casa.
Apaez en Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, onde participa nun partíu de quidditch contra Gryffindor. La so participación principal produzse en Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, cuando ye escoyíu pol Cáliz de Fueu como representante de Hogwarts nel Torneu de los Tres Magos.J. K. Cedric y Harry Potter cooperen parcialmente a lo llargo del tornéu y dambos consiguen llegar xuntos a la Copa de los Tres Magos. La copa resulta ser un trasllador que los lleva a un campusantu, onde Peter Pettigrew mata a Cedric por orde de Lord Voldemort.
La so muerte ye unu de los acontecimientos que marquen el pasu de la serie hacia'l conflictu abiertu cola vuelta de Voldemort. En Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, el Ministeriu intenta evitar que Harry difunda les verdaderes circunstancies de la muerte de Cedric.
