Sam Wood (nome completu: Samuel Grosvenor Wood) foi un direutor de cine d'Estaos Xuníos. Tamién foi productor, escritor y, en menor midida, actor.
Vida profesional Wood trabayó para Cecil B. De Mille como ayudante en 1915. Siendo direutor en 1919, Wood trabayó mientres la década de 1920 dirixendo a delles de les grandes estrelles de la Paramount Pictures, como Gloria Swanson o Wallace Reid.
