Descripción Nel raigañu de Z. dipetalum atopáronse dellos compuestos químicos, incluyíu canthin-6-one, chelerythrina, nitidina, tembetarina, avicennol, xanthoxyletin, lupeol, hesperidin, sitosterol, y magnoflorina.Fish, F., et al. Distribución y hábitat Tien dos variedaes. Z. d. var. dipetalum ta presente en Kauai, nos montes d'Oahu, nes Islles Ḥawai en Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, y posiblemente en Molokai. Z. d. var. tomentosum conócense unos 30 individuos nel volcán Hualalai en Ḥawai.World Conservation Monitoring Centre 1998.
