Muriel Sarah Camberg, conocida como Muriel Spark, DBE, (Bruntsfield, Edimburgu, 1 de febreru de 1918 – Florencia, 13 d'abril de 2006) foi una novelista británica.

En 1934-1935 tomó un cursu sobre correspondencia comercial nel Heriot-Watt College. Enseñó inglés por un curtiu periodu antes de trabayar como secretaria nuna tienda.

A los 19 años casóse con S. O. Spark y fueron vivir a Rodesia, onde tuvieron un fíu. Aína dixebráronse, Muriel volvió a Inglaterra y trabayó nel Foreign Office, en llabores de contraespionaxe bélicu, dende 1944. Foi-y concedida la DBE.

Conoció y tuvo gran amistá con Graham Greene. Empezó a ser conocida cola so novela The Comforters (Los que consuelen, 1957), que robló col apellíu Spark; depués, siguió escribiendo regularmente, con un estilu punchante y eficaz.

Tamién escribió nel New Yorker.

Dende 1954, añu en que se convirtió al catolicismu, moró n'Italia.
