Biografía Creció na rexón de Victoria (Australia). Llogró una llicenciatura en teunoloxía en ciencies de l'atmósfera, de la Universidá de Macquarie, Sydney, y en 1995 foi gallardoniada con honores de primer clase, tamién de la Universidá de Macquarie, pola so tesis titulada "Investigación de les trayectories de les nubes de les rexones de llatitú media nuna AGCM" . El so supervisores honoríficos fueron Bryant McAvaney y Ann Henderson-Sellers.
Ente 1997 a 1999, completó'l so M.Sc. en Ciencies Atmosfériques y Oceániques, supervisáu por Gerald Meehl, pola Universidá de Colorado.
De 2007 a 2013, completó'l so doctoráu, sobre les conducciones del cambéu nel climáticu hemisferiu sur, na Facultá de Ciencies de la Tierra, Universidá de Melbourne, Australia. Los sos supervisores de doctoráu fueron David Karoly, Ian Simmonds (Universidá de Melbourne) y Gerald Meehl.
