Oscar za najbolju originalnu pjesmu (Academy Award for Best Original Song) jedna je od nagrada Akademije. Nominacije sastavljaju tekstopisci i kompozitori, a pobejdnika proglašava cijelo članstvo Akademije. Pobjednik, odnosno pobednica je autor/ka, a ne izvođači/ce pesama. Takođe, u izboru mogu da učestvuju samo originalne pjesme.
Nagrada je prvi put uručena 1935. godine za prethodnu godinu.
Pjesma mora bit originalna i napisana posebno za film. Pjesme koje postanu popularne prije filma ne mogu se kvalifikovati za izbor.
Ukoliko je film adaptacija prethodno produciranog mjuzikla, nijedna pjesma iz mjuzikla automatski ne može biti kvalifikovana za izbor. Iz ovog razloga novije filmske adaptacije mjuzikla obično sadrže i nove pjesme, kojih nije bilo u mjuziklu.
Nominovane pjesme se izvode na svečanoj dodeli Oscara. Obično is izvode isti izvođači koji su iz izvodili u filmu, mada to ne mora uvijek biti slučaj.
