Priconodon („zub“) byl rod obrněného ptakopánvého dinosaura, pravděpodobně z čeledi Nodosauridae. Zahrnuje jediný popsaný druh (P. crassus). Fosilie tohoto čtvernohého býložravce v podobě izolovaných zubů jsou známy z období spodní křídy (geologický stupeň apt až alb, stáří kolem 113 milionů let).Carpenter, K., and Kirkland, J.I. (1998). Historie
Fosilní pozůstatky tohoto dinosaura (holotyp nese označení USNM 2135) byly objeveny na území Marylandu (USA) v sedimentech souvrství Potomac. Formálně popsány byly v roce 1888 americkým paleontologem Othnielem Charlesem Marshem.Marsh, O. C. (1888). Notice of a new genus of Sauropoda and other new dinosaurs from the Potomac Formation. American Journal of Science, 135: 89-94. Dnes se předpokládá, že se jednalo o nodosaurida, vzhledem k útržkovitému fosilnímu materiálu však bývá tento taxon označován za nomen dubium (pochybné vědecké jméno).West, A. and Tibert, N. (2004). Quantitative analysis for the type material of Priconodon crassus: a distinct taxon from the Arundel Formation in souther Maryland. Geological Society of America Abstracts with Programs. 36 (5): 423.
