Popis sveučilišnih prvaka NCAA u američkom nogometu

Najviši nivo američkog nogometa za sveučilišta se d 2006. godine naziva NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, kojeg organizira NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). Titula prvaka (national championship) se dodjeljuje od strane raznih organizacija i njihovih izbora koji potom proglašavaju najbolju sveučilišnu momčad. NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision''' je jedina divizija NCAA koja ne daje službenog prvaka. 2014. godine je uveden College Football Playoff, kao zasebno natjecanje, ali njegovog pobjednik NCAA također ne proglašava službenim prvakom.

Iako NCAA za FBS (te ranije sezone najvišeg stupnja) nije službeno proglasila prvake, temeljem izbora pojedinih organizacija i matematičkih model proglašeni prvaci se nalaze u publikaciji NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision Records. Zbog različitih izbora za prvaka, u mnogim sezonama je prvakom proglašeno dvije ili više momčadi.

Organizacije najvišeg ranga Sveučilišni američki nogomet se povečeo igradi 1869. godine, te momčadi su bile nezavisne (eng. independent). S vremenom su počell formirati konferencije, ali bez vrhovnog vodstcva. NCAA je osnovana 1906. godine kao IAAUS, a od 1910. godine se naziva NCAA.
