A Cyrtochilum az egyszikűek (Liliopsida) osztályának spárgavirágúak (Asparagales) rendjébe, ezen belül a kosborfélék (Orchidaceae) családjába tartozó nemzetség.
Előfordulásuk A Cyrtochilum-fajok előfordulási területe Dél-Amerika. Eme növénynemzetség a következő országokban található meg: Bolívia, Kolumbia, Ecuador, Peru, Puerto Rico és Venezuela.
