A Hyloxalinae a kétéltűek (Amphibia) osztályába, a békák (Anura) rendjébe és az Aromobatidae családjába tartozó alcsalád.
Elterjedése
Az alcsaládba tartozó békafajok Panamától délre, Dél-Amerikában az Andok csendes-óceáni oldalán, valamint a felső Amazonas-medencében honosak.
