A Paratelmatobiinae a kétéltűek (Amphibia) osztályába, a békák (Anura) rendjébe és a füttyentőbéka-félék (Leptodactylidae) családjába tartozó alcsalád.
Elterjedése
Az alcsaládba tartozó békák Texas déli részétől és Mexikótól Brazíliáig valamint a karib-térség északi részén honosak.
Taxonómiai helyzete
