A Duellmanohyla a kétéltűek (Amphibia) osztályába, a békák (Anura) rendjébe és a levelibéka-félék (Hylidae) családjába, azon belül a Hylinae alcsaládba tartozó nem.
Elterjedésük Mexikó, Panama, Guatemala, Honduras és Costa Rica területén honosak.
