La 61ª edizione dei Grammy Awards ha avuto luogo il 10 febbraio 2019 presso lo Staples Center di Los Angeles, in California.
La cerimonia è stata condotta dalla cantante Alicia Keys. L'artista che ha ricevuto più candidature è Kendrick Lamar con otto candidature. Childish Gambino e Kacey Musgraves sono stati gli artisti più premiati dell'edizione con quattro riconoscimenti, tra cui Musgraves è stata premiata nella catagoria album dell'anno per Golden Hour. I premi per la canzone dell'anno e registrazione dell'anno sono stati vinti da This Is America di Childish Gambin, rendendolo il primo rapper a vincere nella stessa edizione in entrambe le categorie. Cardi B è divenuta la prima rapper donna solista a vincere nella categoria al miglior album rap con Invasion of Privacy.
