When A.A.P. became U.A.A.

Em 1981, a UA foi vendida para a MGM,MGM is reported purchasing United Artists for $350 million e cinco anos depois, Ted Turner adquiriu a biblioteca pré-maio de 1986 da MGM.Turner Sells The Studio, Holds On To The Dream

Entertainment.

Tom Kenny, Jerry Beck, Frank Caruso, Glenn Mitchell, et al., Popeye the Sailor: 1933–1938, Volume 1. Special Features: I Yam What I Yam: The Story of Popeye the Sailor (DVD), Warner Home Video, 2007.
