Биография Энди Ла Плагуа начал свою музыкальную карьеру с метал-группы My Right Choice во Фредрикстаде под псевдонимом Andy Speed. Он также делал музыку для различных клубных проектов (Plastic Life, Sector9).
В 1997 году был сформирован соло-проект Icon Of Coil, к которому позже примкнул бывший участник группы Sector 9 (теперь Moonitor и Zombie Girl) Себастиан Комор.
В 2003 официально был запущен проект Combichrist, изначально названный «Drive», как более агрессивная альтернатива Icon Of Coil, а позднее (в 2004 году) и хард-рок проект Panzer AG. В музыке Panzer AG Энди соединил танцевальную составляющую группы Icon of Coil и жёсткий бит Combichrist. Его четвёртый проект, ориентированный на жанр техно, Scandy.
