Paratrigona — род безжальных пчёл из трибы Meliponini семейства Apidae. Не используют жало при защите. Хотя жало у них сохранилось, но в сильно редуцированном виде. Эндемики Нового Света.

Классификация Около 30 видов. Первоначально таксон был описан в 1938 году энтомологом H. F. Schwarz в качестве подрода рода Schwarz, H. F. (1938). The stingless bees (Meliponidae) of British Guiana and some related forms. Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist. 74: 437—508 (впервые таксон введён в качестве подрода в составе рода Trigona Jurine, 1807)..
