How Could Hell Be Any Worse je debutový album americkej punkovej skupiny Bad Religion. Počas jeho nahrávania prišlo k zmene na poste bubeníka, keď pôvodného člena Jaya Ziskrouta nahradil Pete Finestone. Neskorší gitarista Greg Hetson hosťoval na tomto albume v piesni Part III.
V roku 1991 vyšiel album ako súčasť kompilácie 80-85 spolu s piesňami z EP Bad Religion a Back to the Known a skladbami nahratými pre výberové album Public Service. V roku 2004 bola táto kompilácia vydaná pod názvom How Could Hell Be Any Worse? ako rozšírená verzia albumu.
