Страусові (Struthionidae) — родина нелітаючих птахів, що включає два сучасні види — страус африканський (Struthio camelus) і страус сомалійський (Struthio molybdophanes) та приблизно 15 вимерлих видів. Родина виникла у кінці еоцені.Mayr, G. (2009). Paleogene fossil birds. Springer.
