Поширення і екологія Goggia hewitti мешкають в Капських горах на території Західнокапської і Східнокапської провінцій. Вони живуть в тріщинах серед скель, порослих чагарниками. Самиці відкладають 2 яйця розміром 9×5,5 мм.
