Thorstein (Bunde) Veblen (* 30. júl 1857, Valders, Wisconsin, USA – † 3. august 1929, Menlo Park, Kalifornia) bol americký ekonóm a sociológ nórskeho pôvodu. Je zakladateľom inštitucionalizmu a spoluzakladateľom teórie manažérskej revolúcie.
Zomrel na zlyhanie srdca, jeho popol bol rozprášený do Tichého oceánu.
