Fritz Reuter Leiber Jr., nado o 24 de decembro de 1910 e finado o 5 de setembro de 1992, foi un popular novelista e contista norteamericano dos xéneros de fantasía, terror e ciencia ficción. As súas novelas de ciencia ficción The Big Time (1958) e The Wanderer (1964) e os contos "Gonna Roll the Bones" (1967), sobre un tahúr que xoga aos dados coa morte, e "Ship of Shadows" (1970) proporcionáronlle varios premios Hugo e Nebula.
